Chris Young, Corey Crowder and Josh Hoge celebrate "Hangin’ On" #1
Nashville, TN – April 30, 2019 - On Monday afternoon, friends, family, and industry tastemakers gathered in the BMI lobby on Music Row to celebrate Chris Young’s 11th career #1 single, “Hangin’ On.” The party, co-sponsored by BMI, ASCAP, and SESAC, honored Young (BMI), Corey Crowder (ASCAP), and Josh Hoge (SESAC), the trio who have co-written some of Young’s biggest hits, including “I’m Comin’ Over” and “Think Of You.” “Hangin’ On” is the third number one co-written by these hit makers. It is the second single from Young’s 2017 album Losing Sleep and is the 5thconsecutive number one hit for the RCA Nashville recording artist. Young departs later this week for a string of shows in the UK before kicking off his “Raised On Country” headline tour on May 16 in Alpharetta, GA.
